Tourism is fast emerging as one of the major job providing sectors, more and more educational institutions have come up with academic programmes in the field.
Realizing the potential of the sector, these courses have been designed with emphasis on being able to understand the basics of the international tourism industry.
Depending on your experience and qualification you can take any of the courses above. If you have no experience and qualifications up to GCSE or equivalent you should start with the certificate course.
If you take the certificate and you want later to change to the diploma or even advanced diploma you will get credit for the units you have already taken, To take the Advanced Diploma which is Level 5 you should have had some experience but not essential but you will need to have reached the Diploma level or equivalent.Guidance will be available on this from the centre you will be taught in or if no centre is in your location directly from ATHE.
